I was born in Seoul, South Korea where I attended
Kyung Hee
Univeristy and obtained a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Fine Arts.
Afterwards I moved to Naperville, IL and joined the Chicago
and New
York Museums of Fine Art. Shortly after I recieved
my first honerary award.
More recently I relocated to Saint Augustine, Fl.
A few of the
associations I belong to are the
Saint Augustine Art Association,
National League
of American Pen Women and the Saint Johns
County Cultural Council. In 2007 I received an
honorary award.
I am a modern artist who mainly paints with oil
and acrylic and
occasionally uses watercolor
and pastels. Eighty-five percent
of my work
involves hand painting rather than brush. My
style
is colorful and full of life. Other talents
involve pottery, sculpture
and interior design.
Since 2002 I have been teaching the principles
of art at The Arc of the St. Johns. This
is a very
fulfilling job for me and keeps me busy during
the week.
In my spare time I freelance with
my paintings.
Anyone who wishes learn the procedures
of fine art or would
like to request where
particular paintings are displayed,
please
contact me for an appointment.
Thank you!
